| Autograph Document Signed | A signature placed on a documet (ie. A cheque), which is entirely handwritten |

A signature placed on a letter which is handwritten by the signatory |
| Autograph Manuscript | A page or speech which was handwritten by the signatory |
| Autograph Manuscript Signed | A page or speech which was handwritten by the signatory, with a signature |
| Autograph Note Signed | A signature on a short note/letter which is handwritten by the signatory |
| Autograph Quotation Signed | A handwritten quotation which has also been signed |
| Autopen | A machine that 'writes' a signature onto a piece of paper, using a matrix of the person's signature |
| COA | Certificate of Authority; provided with purchase of autograph, but many collectors consider it as a worthless piece of paper |
| Document Signed | A signature placed on a document (ie. A cheque) |
| Inscribed Photograph Signed | A photo of the signatory with both a signature and a short message |
| Letter Signed | A signature placed on a letter which is handwritten by someone else |
