How to turn on Cookies in your web browser

 

Cookies are small files stored in your web browser by web sites. They allow the site to track your interaction with the site and must be enabled for you to use collectZing - otherwise the site cannot 'remember' you are sign in.

 

For Internet Explorer 6 + 7 Users:

 

   1. Open Internet Explorer 6

   2. Go to Tools, Internet Options on the menu.

   3. Click on the Privacy tab.

   4. If you see "Custom", click the "Default" button to reset the settings.

   5. The slider on the left should NOT be set to "Block All Cookies".

   6. If you don't know which settings to put the slider on, put it on the "Medium" option.

   7. Click Ok to exit the option window and then close Internet Explorer.

   8. Cookies are now enabled in Internet Explorer! 

 

For Internet Explorer 5 Users:

 

   1. Open Internet Explorer 5

   2. Go to Tools, Internet Options on the menu.

   3. Click on the Security tab, and then the Custom Level button.

   4. Look through the list for the section titled Cookies.

   5. There should be two options in this section. Enable both of them.

   6. Click Ok to save the settings, clicking Yes when it asks if you want to change the security settings for the zone.

   7. Click Ok to exit the rest of the open windows and then close Internet Explorer.

   8. Cookies are now enabled! 

 

For Mozilla Firefox 1.0 Users:

 

   1. Click on "Tools" on the menu bar and select "Options".

   2. In the "Options" window, select / Expand "Cookies".

   3. Select "Allow Sites to Set Cookies". 

 

For Mozilla Firefox 2.0 Users:

 

   1. Click on "Tools" on the menu bar and select "Options".

   2. In the "Options" window, select the "Privacy" tab.

   3. Select "Access cookies from sites" and "Keep until they expire". 

 

For Safari Version 1 Users:

 

   1. Open the Safari browser and click on the Safari tab on the menu bar.

   2. Click on preferences.

   3. Click on the security tab in this new window.

   4. Make sure that "Enable Javascript" is enabled.

   5. Accepting Cookies: Please make sure that you either choose "Only from sites you navigate to" or "Always" in the cookies area.
