What are tags?

 

Tags are adjectives or words that you associate with your collection or object. For instance, you may want to tag your coin collection with the words ‘ancient’, ‘Greek’, ‘Roman’. Or you may want to tag them with other descriptive words. It’s an easy way to explain to others what your collectibles are! Additionally, it’s an easy way to find other collectZing members, collections, and objects that are tagged with the same or similar words.

 

What can I tag?

 

You can use tags to describe yourself, your collections, and your objects. 

 

How can I search using tags?

 

Whenever you see a tag cloud, you can click on one of the words in it, and be taken to a page which lists all the people, objects and collections that use that tag. You can also view all the tags used by all the members. You can search the tags in two ways: 

 

 

You can click on a tag that interests you

You can type a word into the search form

 

 

No matter which way you choose to search, you will be brought to a page which lists the matches for your search term. If you want to further narrow down your search, you can choose to look at matches for people, collections, or objects. Want to narrow down your search further? Then you can choose another tag! In fact, theoretically, you can keep narrowing or widening your searches without ever reaching the end of collectZing content!
